dMACQ Announces Successful Completion of its First Order From DGS&D via Government e-Market Plac

dMACQ Scanning Services

dMACQ Software Pvt. Ltd. (http://www.dmacq.com), a provider of IT and IT-enabled services, announced that they have been recently selected by Mumbai office of DGS&D (Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals), a Government of India agency, for providing digitization services. DGS&D, a century-old organization, is being wound down by Government of India, and will be replaced by Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the official portal for all federal government agencies. However, there are several years’ worth archival records that need to be digitized and placed in electronic storage for future reference.

It is here that dMACQ’s Document Management Solutions (DMS) has been found to satisfy the requirements of DGS&D. “dMACQ is uniquely positioned to meet the demands of DGS&D since not only does dMACQ provide digitization services that convert physical documents into electronic form, it also provides latest technology driven solution with capability of digitizing over 300,000 documents in a single day”, said Mr. Srikant Krishnan, the Managing Director of dMACQ. “Moreover, we were able to demonstrate our track record of scanning over several hundreds of thousands of records in a single day with high reliability in a short time with all DGS&D requirements”, elaborated Mr. Krishnan. dMACQ was selected by DGS&D through GeM and this is the first order for dMACQ through the government e-portal.

A Document Management System can store and retrieve electronic documents, tag and index documents, search documents in its repository, provide multi-user environment for simultaneous access of one document by several users, and enable backup and recovery. An important requirement of a DMS is security and “dMACQ provides one of the few independently audited VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing)-certified DMS in the market”, said Dr. S. Narayanan, the CTO of dMACQ.

With this new order, dMACQ hopes to provide pan-India support to DGS&D and similar Governmental organisations for DMS and digitization services, and hopes that the Government of India will continue its support for Make In India push. dMACQ is a registered MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprise), a startup recognized by the Government of India agency, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, and a proud participant of Make in India initiative – “our digitization center and services division are staffed with competent men and women from India”, said Mr. Manoj Gangadharan, the Digitization Head for dMACQ.
